Rivian seeks an Analyst for Remarketing and Expedite Operations to manage daily carrier interactions and ensure timely handling of Trade In vehicles. You will coordinate with downstream and upstream partners, prioritizing tasks with a strong customer service mindset, and drive cost optimization through data-driven actions.

The role is based in Normal, IL or Plymouth, MI and reports to the Manager Remarketing and Expedite Operations.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field or equivalent experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain or related.
• Hands‑on experience working with a Transportation Management System (TMS), and/or a Yard Management System (YMS).
• Process oriented - uses a methodical approach to problem solving.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced user in MS Excel - ability to create pivot table and charts, use of short cuts, and VLOOKUP.
• Finished vehicle logistics experience a plus.
• Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.

Responsabilidades

• Drive carrier performance to ensure timely delivery and quality of finished vehicles using modes of truck, rail, and ocean. Tender loads to contracted and spot market carriers.
• Input shipment data into TMS.
• Ensure data integrity is maintained - YMS (yard management system) and TMS are in unison. Daily auditing of reports and workbenches.
• Coordinate capacity planning activities with carriers, railheads, and service centers.
• Communicate carrier KPI results weekly & monthly and implement corrective actions as needed. Maintain a monthly cadence with assigned carriers.
• Leverage data to identify exceptions or waste trends and work across teams to develop and measure corrective actions. Utilize root cause analysis to fix issues.
• Identify, develop, document, and roll out logistics processes as needed.
• Ensure safety procedures are established, communicated, and enforced.
• Liaise with Purchasing and IT to onboard new carriers.
• Support resolving freight pay discrepancies.
• Act as back up and support for other roles within the Outbound Logistics team. This includes supporting Yard and Rail Operations.
• Act as a representative of Rivian to Industry Groups, for example, ALEC, the Automotive Logistics Executive Council.
