Job summary

Visy Group is seeking an experienced freight-forwarding sales professional to drive new business across Atlanta and the Southeast USA. You will hunt opportunities, develop pipeline, and convert them into profitable revenue by selling Air Freight, Ocean Freight, Customs Brokerage, Domestic Transportation, Warehousing and Contract Logistics.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in sales or logistics with freight forwarding background.
• Experience selling Air Freight, Ocean Freight and customs brokerage.
• Willingness to travel across the region and nationally.

Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and convert new business opportunities across Atlanta and the Southeast USA.
• Proactively prospect and build a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities.
• Leverage existing customer relationships and industry contacts to create new revenue opportunities.
• Sell solutions across Air Freight, Ocean Freight, Customs Brokerage, Domestic Transportation, Warehousing and Contract Logistics.
• Prepare customer proposals and develop tailored logistics solutions based on customer requirements.
• Negotiate commercial agreements and convert opportunities into profitable revenue.
• Maintain accurate CRM activity, pipeline management and forecasting.
• Work closely with operations, commercial, finance, marketing and product teams to deliver customer solutions.
