Job summary

NXTPoint Logistics, a leading 3PL provider, is seeking a Billing Specialist to ensure accurate and timely invoicing for deliveries, warehousing, and value-added services. You will collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Accounting to follow contract terms and recognize revenue promptly.

The ideal candidate brings 2+ years of billing or accounting support, strong Excel skills, and attention to detail, with experience in transportation or logistics environments highly preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years administrative or accounting support experience.
• Experience in transportation, logistics, warehousing or final mile delivery environments is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Experience with ERP or accounting systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Generate customer invoices for deliveries, installations, and value-added services.
• Review delivery orders, PODs, billing docs, and contracts to ensure billing accuracy.
• Validate accessorial charges.
• Process recurring and transactional billing per customer agreements.
• Ensure all completed deliveries are invoiced within billing deadlines.
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies prior to invoicing.
• Respond to customer billing inquiries professionally and timely.
• Collaborate with Operations and Customer Satisfaction to obtain docs.
• Assist Accounts Receivable with invoice disputes and collections research.
• Support customer audits and billing reviews.
