Aston Carter is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join a growing logistics team in Fullerton, CA. You will process freight invoices, resolve discrepancies, and support financial operations with strong Excel skills and customer service focus.

This contract-to-hire role requires 2+ years in B2B billing and experience with ERP systems, with a hybrid work arrangement in Fullerton.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with B2B billing.
• Experience handling billing discrepancies for customers.
• Processing invoices into an ERP system.
• Prior experience within logistics industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Enter, review, and confirm BOL information in Truckmate to ensure accuracy.
• Apply correct rating and verify credit terms during freight bill creation.
• Approve, finalize, and print invoices per agreements and policies.
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies from start to finish.
• Scan and link relevant documentation in the Synergize imaging platform.
• Audit offshore billing tasks for accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with Sales, Collections, IT, and Pricing on invoicing questions.
• Prepare rate quotes and respond to customer inquiries in a timely, professional manner.
• Perform high-volume data entry for invoices and billing records.
• Use Excel pivot tables and VLOOKUPs to analyze billing data.
• Compute discounts, interest, commissions, and other billing calculations.
• Work independently and as a team to meet deadlines.
• Communicate professionally with internal teams and customers.
