Job summary

HireArt is recruiting a Logistics and Inventory Planner to manage end-to-end supply and inventory planning for assigned product categories, ensuring service locations have materials for fleet maintenance and uptime.

The role oversees material availability, supplier relationships, and replenishment activities, partnering with Serviceability, Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, Logistics, and Supply Chain to optimize inventory and reduce risks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, operations, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in logistics, inventory management, materials planning, or supply chain planning.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to mitigate supply risks and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with ERP or MRP systems to support inventory planning and supply chain operations.
• Advanced Excel skills to analyze large datasets and develop reports.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to influence cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end material planning and execution for assigned product categories to support service operations and fleet uptime.
• Manage the complete purchase order lifecycle from creation to issue resolution.
• Coordinate inbound transportation and resolve shipment delays with suppliers and logistics providers.
• Monitor inventory levels, demand signals, and service requirements to maintain target stock across locations.
• Identify supply risks and inventory constraints and drive corrective actions to prevent disruptions.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve material flow and resolve supply challenges.
• Analyze inventory data to identify trends and support data-driven decisions.

Expected compensation: 71.60 USD Per Hour

HireArt is helping an on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company find a Logistics and Inventory Planner to manage end-to-end supply and inventory planning for assigned product categories, ensuring service locations have the materials needed to support vehicle maintenance, repairs, and fleet readiness.

In this role, you'll oversee material availability across the supply chain by managing inventory strategies, supplier relationships, and replenishment activities. You'll partner with cross-functional teams to optimize inventory levels, mitigate supply risks, and drive continuous improvements that support fleet uptime and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and proactive, with experience in inventory planning, logistics, or supply chain operations. They excel at solving complex problems, managing competing priorities, and collaborating across teams to deliver practical, data-driven solutions.

As a Logistics And Inventory Planner, You'll

• Own end-to-end material planning and execution for assigned product categories to support service operations and maximize fleet uptime.
• Manage the complete purchase order lifecycle, including purchase order creation, supplier confirmations, shipment tracking, receipt reconciliation, and issue resolution.
• Coordinate inbound transportation with suppliers and logistics providers, proactively resolving shipment delays and delivery issues.
• Monitor inventory levels, demand signals, and service requirements to maintain target inventory levels across multiple service locations.
• Identify supply risks, material shortages, and inventory constraints, driving corrective actions to prevent service disruptions.
• Partner with suppliers and cross-functional teams, including Serviceability, Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, Logistics, and Supply Chain, to improve material flow and resolve supply challenges.
• Analyze supply and inventory data to identify trends, improve visibility, and support data-driven decision-making.
• Monitor inventory health, including shortages, excess inventory, and potential obsolescence, while balancing inventory investment with fleet readiness.
• Build strong cross-functional relationships and influence stakeholders to drive alignment, accountability, and continuous process improvement.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, operations, or a related field
• 6+ years of experience in logistics, inventory management, materials planning, or supply chain planning
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to mitigate supply risks and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience working with ERP or MRP systems to support inventory planning and supply chain operations
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to analyze large datasets and develop reports
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority
• Experience supporting fleet services, service operations, or multi-site inventory environments

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA
• Experience with inventory optimization, supply and demand planning, or materials management
• APICS CPIM or another industry-recognized supply chain certification
