CAIRE seeks a Global Supply Demand Planner in Atlanta to support material planning, supplier coordination, and demand forecasting across global operations with hands-on planning, data analysis, ERP execution, and cross-functional alignment.

The ideal candidate is analytical, eager to learn, and thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment with experience in SIOP, MRP/DRP, and advanced Excel. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in operations, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • Master’s in business administration or APICS certification is a plus.
  • 4+ years of experience in supply chain, demand planning or inventory management, preferably in the industry.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication.
  • Proficient in planning software and ERP tools; fluent with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Global Planning & Coordination: Manage global supply demand planning with regional alignment to optimize material movements, production schedules, and inventory strategies.
  • Forecasting & Demand Planning: Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts; adapt plans based on forecast changes, schedules, and market conditions.
  • SIOP Meeting Preparation & Analysis: Prepare and analyze data for SIOP meetings; align sales forecasts with inventory and production.
  • MRP/DRP Optimization: Use MRP/DRP principles to forecast demand, manage inventory, set safety stock, and recommend replenishment.
  • Inventory Optimization & Financial Alignment: Monitor global inventory; balance supply and demand; manage safety stock and reorder points.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with procurement, production, customer service, and logistics for plan execution and issue resolution.
  • ERP & Data Analytics Tools: Use ERP systems (JD Edwards, Oracle) for planning; leverage Excel and Tableau for reporting and analysis.
  • Risk Management & Contingency Planning: Identify disruptions and develop contingency plans; ensure timely delivery across regions.
  • AI Integration in Supply Chain: Explore AI to optimize forecasting, inventory, and processes.
  • Customer Delivery Commitments: Provide delivery commitments to internal and external customers.

Summary/Objective

We are a medium-sized global leader in biomedical products seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Global Supply Demand Planner to join our team. This role supports the execution of material planning, supplier coordination, and demand forecasting processes to ensure smooth production and inventory flow across global operations. The position emphasizes hands-on planning, data analysis, ERP-based execution, and cross-functional alignment. The ideal candidate is analytical, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

Essential Functions
  • Global Planning & Coordination:
    Manage global supply demand planning, ensuring alignment across all regions to optimize material movements, production schedules, and inventory strategies.
  • Forecasting & Demand Planning:
    Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts, continuously adapting plans based on changes in forecast, production schedules, market conditions, and business strategies.
  • SIOP Meeting Preparation & Analysis:
    Prepare and analyze data for Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) meetings, ensuring alignment between sales forecasts, inventory levels, and production capabilities.
  • MRP/DRP Optimization:
    Utilize MRP (Material Requirements Planning) and DRP (Distribution Resource Planning) principles to forecast demand, manage inventory levels, set safety stock targets, and recommend replenishment quantities to minimize shortages and reduce costs.
  • Inventory Optimization & Financial Alignment:
    Monitor global inventory levels and support balancing supply with demand. Assist in managing safety stock, reorder points, and supply signals to reduce shortages and excess.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination:
    Work closely with procurement, production, customer service, and logistics teams to ensure plan execution and issue resolution. Participate in new product introduction (NPI), product change, and phase-out planning.
  • ERP & Data Analytics Tools:
    Use ERP systems (e.g., JD Edwards, Oracle) for planning transactions and reporting. Leverage Excel and Tableau for reporting, data analysis, and performance tracking.
  • Risk Management & Contingency Planning:
    Identify potential supply chain disruptions and develop proactive contingency plans to mitigate risks, ensuring timely product delivery across regions.
  • AI Integration in Supply Chain:
    Leverage AI tools to optimize demand forecasting, inventory management, and process automation, improving accuracy and efficiency within the global supply chain.
  • Customer Delivery Commitments:
    Provide delivery commitments to internal and external customers, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products by managing inventory and production schedules effectively.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in operations, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field required. Master’s in business administration or APICS certification is a plus.
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in a role in supply chain, demand planning or inventory management, preferably in our industry.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written as oral.
  • Sound time management skills, ability to work under pressure, balancing different, sometimes conflicting, priorities and goals.
  • Proficient in planning software and ERP tools
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office products including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • 2 years of working experience with Oracle JD Edwards is a plus
  • Experience utilizing AI in work processes is a plus.
  • 2 years of working experience in medical device industry is a plus
