We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Materials Planner to join our fast-paced manufacturing team. Responsibilities

• 1. Develop and implement materials planning strategies to meet production requirements and ensure the optimal use of resources.
• 2. Manage inventory levels to ensure the availability of materials and prevent shortages or excesses.
• 3. Use ERP systems to track materials, forecast needs, and coordinate with suppliers.
• 4. Lead procurement activities, including sourcing, negotiating, and managing relationships with suppliers.
• 5. Conduct accurate forecasting to predict material needs and schedule deliveries.
• 6. Participate in strategic planning sessions to align materials planning with company objectives.
• 7. Implement Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste.

• 9. Continually review and improve materials planning processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications

• 1. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in materials planning in a manufacturing environment.
• 3. Proven experience with production planning, inventory management, ERP systems, procurement, and forecasting.
• 4. Strong knowledge of strategic planning principles and practices.
• 5. Experience with Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
• 6. Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.
• 7. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• 8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• 9. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• 10. High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• 11. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
