Job summary

Palmer Logistics is seeking an Account Specialist to be the primary interface with customers, ensuring orders are processed accurately and in line with contracts. The role emphasizes strong communication with warehouse operations and a proactive, detail-oriented approach to service excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience in logistics/3PL
• Flexible work schedule including early, late, and weekends
• Technical skills with ability to work in multiple warehouse management systems
• Detail-oriented and able to perform basic math functions
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders in accordance with company and customer requirements and ensure accuracy
• Invoice and verify rates per contractual warehouse agreement
• Address customer complaints in a timely manner and escalate to management as needed
• Research discrepancies in inventory as needed
• Maintain good relationships with customers via email and/or phone in a courteous, efficient manner
• Follow established company policies and procedures
• Collaborate with office and warehouse personnel to meet productivity goals
• Perform additional functions as assigned by management
