Job summary

The position requires one year of locksmithing experience, including mortise and cylindrical locks, key pinning and electronic lock systems. Travel between sites will be required to support essential facilities operations.

Qualifications

• Applicants must have one (1) year of locksmithing experience including mortise, cylindrical locks, pinning/cutting keys and electric locks.
• A combination of related education and/or relevant experience equal to one (1) year may satisfy the minimum qualifications.
• Preferred qualifications include state experience, experience with BEST systems, and locksmith certification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Repair mortise, cylindrical locks, door hardware and associated components.
• Maintain and repair electronic locking systems per codes and standards.
• Train staff on use of manual and electronic locking systems.
• Perform safety checks and ensure compliance with ADA/NFPA requirements.
• Travel between sites to deliver locksmith services and support operations.
