Job summary

CGL Facility Management, LLC is seeking a skilled Locksmith to perform maintenance, repair, and service of locks, electronic access equipment, and related hardware. The role includes key making, lock maintenance, and ensuring security across facilities.

The Locksmith will handle preventive and corrective work orders, maintain documentation, and stay current with new locksmith technologies. Excellent communication and customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4-6 years locksmith or maintenance experience in commercial environments required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to read electrical schematics.
• Demonstrates strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Completes all documentation in a CMMS.
• Must be a team player with a positive attitude and customer service focus.
• Must provide outstanding customer service to meet client needs.
• Computer proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative and/or corrective maintenance on locks, doors, and related hardware.
• Installs and maintains pneumatic and electronic locking systems, sensors, and access devices.
• Establishes controlled access via key and lock systems.
• Responds to emergencies regarding locking devices and services.
• Maintains records and logs; data entry into CMMS.
• Stay updated on locksmith technologies and trends.
• Complete compliance, safety and training as assigned.
