Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of banking, payment processing, accounts receivable processing, lockbox operations, or related experience.
• Experience extracting payments from envelopes and matching invoice information for scanning.
• Strong data entry skills with the ability to key information accurately in a high-volume processing environment.

Responsibilities

• Open and process client remittances manually or using automated extraction equipment according to client instructions.
• Review envelopes, checks, invoices, credit card vouchers, and correspondence for acceptance, rejection, batching, and processing accuracy.
• Prepare payment and invoice information for scanning, imaging, data entry, and downstream payment processing.
• Key standard to complex data from invoices, check images, and credit card vouchers while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Perform quality review and closing procedures to ensure images, reports, packaging, and mailing requirements are completed correctly.
• Monitor production activity, validate payees, correct system misreads, and support timely processing of deadline‑sensitive accounts.
