Job summary

Intuit seeks dedicated TurboTax Local Service Experts to work on-site at a TurboTax location in the United States, delivering full-service tax preparation and expert guidance to individuals and small businesses. You will collaborate with specialists across bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning to provide a complete, end-to-end client experience.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must be willing to complete all required training and development as determined by the business including compliance training and cross-training of other products.
• Must be willing to wear Intuit provided uniforms and to use your name and picture for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Be a proactive community ambassador to grow a local TurboTax client base and engage with community partnerships.
• Connect clients with Intuit solutions like bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, or Credit Karma as part of a complete financial picture.
• Build relationships and deliver an exceptional customer experience in both in-person and virtual settings.
