Job summary

Intuit Inc. is seeking motivated individuals to join our TurboTax Local Service Expert team.

You will provide hands-on tax preparation, expert tax advice, and software support at a TurboTax location, while collaborating with a broader team of specialists across bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning. You’ll engage with clients in person and virtually, grow your local client base, and deliver an end-to-end Intuit experience.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with tax prep experience preferred.
• Must have a PTIN to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 returns using professional tax prep software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, 20+ hours per week.
• Must complete training and development; uniforms; advertising usage.
• Interested in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tax Expertise - give hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex scenarios.
• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador - build a local customer base through outreach and community partnerships.
• Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem - connect clients with bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, and other services.
• Build Relationships - develop long-term trust and repeat business.
• Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience - ensure professional service in-person or via video tools and help clients achieve financial goals.
