Job summary

Intuit Inc. is seeking TurboTax Local Service Experts to work onsite at TurboTax locations nationwide. You’ll provide hands-on tax preparation, expert advice, and software support while connecting clients with Intuit’s holistic services including bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning.

You will grow the local client base, host community events, and deliver a best-in-class customer experience with a trusted, personal touch, both in person and via TurboTax tools.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/attorney with strong tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax laws.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• At least 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per season with professional software. Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping, payroll, advisory with training.
• Must work onsite at a TurboTax location, 20+ hours/week, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
• Willing to complete training and wear uniforms; may use name/picture for advertising.
• Interest in building local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tax Expertise - give hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador - grow local client base through outreach and events.
• Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem - connect clients with bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, or Credit Karma.
• Build Relationships - turn one-time transactions into long-term relationships.
• Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience - ensure professional service and assist with tax planning.
