Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is hiring TurboTax Local Service Experts to provide hands-on tax preparation and personalised tax advice at a TurboTax location.

You’ll serve direct clients, discuss complex scenarios, and collaborate across Intuit’s ecosystem of services, including bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning. You will act as a local ambassador, attract new clients, and deliver a superior customer experience in a fast-paced, team-based environment.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax laws.
• Active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax prep software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types (e.g., bookkeeping, payroll, tax advisory) with training provided.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time, 20+ hours weekly; hours may scale up during peak seasons.
• Must complete training and development as required; uniforms provided; may be featured in advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert; creating tax tips and resources per Intuit policy.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; experience in holistic tax advisory beyond filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Act as a community ambassador, growing the local TurboTax client base through outreach, events, and partnerships.
• Connect clients with Intuit ecosystem solutions (bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning) to address their needs.
• Build relationships to turn one-time transactions into long-term client engagements.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience with professional, clear guidance.
