Job summary

Intuit, Inc. seeks year-round TurboTax Local Service Experts to provide hands-on tax preparation and expert guidance at a TurboTax location.

You will serve clients in person and virtually, connecting them with specialists from bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning to deliver end-to-end support. You’ll act as a local ambassador, grow the client base, and ensure a seamless customer experience while leveraging Intuit’s resources for year-round assistance.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/Attorney with strong tax preparation experience.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per tax season using professional software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping, payroll, or advisory services with training.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office 8:00–17:00, Mon–Fri, at least 20 hours/week.
• Training/compliance and ongoing professional development.
• Willing to wear uniforms and participate in advertising using your name/photo.
• Interest in building local and online social presence for TurboTax expertise.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, handling personal and business income and deductions.
• Collaborate with specialists in bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory to deliver end-to-end service.
• Conduct discovery sessions and reviews to maximize refunds and future tax planning.
• Grow local client base through outreach, events, and partnerships with TurboTax marketing support.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience across in-person and virtual interactions.
