Job summary

Intuit is hiring TurboTax - Local Service Experts to work on-site at a TurboTax location in the United States. You will provide expert tax advice, prepare returns, and guide clients through personal and business tax scenarios while coordinating with a broader team of specialists.

You will grow the local client base, participate in community events, and leverage Intuit marketing tools to build a thriving practice.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/attorney with tax preparation experience preferred.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per tax season with professional software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be onsite at a TurboTax office 20+ hours weekly, 8:00–17:00 local time, Mon–Fri.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, handling personal and business income, deductions, and amendments.
• Serve as a local ambassador, growing the client base through outreach and community events.
• Coordinate with bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory teams to deliver end-to-end service.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience and assist clients in planning for future taxes.

Education

EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney

PTIN holder (Preparer Tax Identification Number)
