Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking a TurboTax - Local Service Expert in Southern California. The role is on-site, delivering full-service tax preparation and expert advice to individuals and businesses while integrating with Intuit’s ecosystem.

You will grow the local client base, build lasting relationships, and provide year-round support across tax planning, bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services, collaborating with specialists to ensure a seamless client experience.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/attorney with strong tax preparation experience.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state 1040 returns per season.
• Willing to upskill into additional service areas with training.
• Onsite at TurboTax office, 20 hours/week, 8:00–17:00 local time, Mon–Fri.
• Willing to train and be featured in advertising materials.
• Interest in building local/online TurboTax presence.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax expertise and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex situations.
• Grow local client base through outreach, events, and partnerships.
• Connect clients to broader Intuit services (bookkeeping, payroll, planning).
• Deliver exceptional customer experience with professionalism and empathy.
• Engage with clients in-person and via Intuit video tools.
