Job summary

Intuit is hiring TurboTax - Local Service Experts to work on-site at a TurboTax location in the United States. You will provide hands-on tax preparation and expert guidance, while also growing the local client base and connecting clients to the broader Intuit ecosystem.

A strong focus on community engagement and comprehensive financial understanding will be essential. Role requires 3+ years of relevant tax filing experience, active PTIN, and willingness to work 20 hours per week at standard

Qualifications

• EA/CPA or attorney with strong tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per season with professional software.
• Willing to upskill into other service types (bookkeeping, payroll, advisory) with training.
• Must be onsite at a TurboTax office, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time, ~20 hours/week, with possible peak-season scaling.
• Must complete training and development as required by the business; uniforms provided; may be featured in advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert; bilingual ability a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, including complex scenarios.
• Act as a community ambassador to grow the local TurboTax client base and foster relationships.
• Connect clients with Intuit ecosystem solutions (bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning).
• Develop lasting relationships to convert prospects into long-term clients.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience with professional and empathetic service.
