Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is hiring TurboTax - Local Service Experts to work on-site at TurboTax locations across the United States.

You will provide tax preparation and expert advice, while also growing the local client base and linking clients to complementary Intuit services such as bookkeeping and payroll. You will collaborate with a team of specialists to deliver a seamless end-to-end Intuit experience, meeting clients where they are and helping them navigate complex financial situations with clarity

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, Monday through Friday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week; hours may scale up during tax season.
• Must be willing and able to complete all required training and development; uniforms; advertising use of name/picture; participation in company marketing.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize tax liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future tax planning advice.
• Act as local community ambassador to grow TurboTax client base through outreach, referrals, and partnerships.
• Develop a deep understanding of clients' financial pictures and connect them with Intuit solutions across bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services.
