Job summary

Intuit is seeking a TurboTax Local Service Expert to work on-site at a TurboTax location, serving in-person and virtual clients with tax preparation and advisory services. You’ll collaborate with specialists across business tax, bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning to deliver end-to-end support.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software; Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, Monday through Friday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week; hours may scale up during peak tax season.
• Must be willing and able to complete all required training and development as determined by the business.
• Must be willing to wear Intuit provided uniforms and be willing to use your name, picture for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert; bilingual communications are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tax Expertise - Hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients across simple to complex situations.
• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador - Build and grow a local customer base through outreach, events, and partnerships.
• Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem - Connect clients to bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, and other Intuit solutions.
• Build Relationships - Develop trust and long-term client relationships.
• Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience - Ensure outstanding service, including in-person and video interactions.
