Job summary

Intuit is seeking skilled TurboTax Local Service Experts to provide hands-on tax advice and full preparation services onsite. You will grow a local client base, engage with the community, and connect clients to Intuit’s ecosystem for ongoing support.

Role requires on-site presence, strong tax knowledge, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams. Training, uniforms, and a local marketing framework support your success.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA, or practicing attorney with tax preparation experience.
• Active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must be willing and able to complete all required training and development.
• Must be willing to wear Intuit provided uniforms.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Be a proactive community ambassador, identifying prospects and organizing local events with marketing support.
• Connect clients with the Intuit ecosystem (bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, etc.).
• Build relationships to turn one-time transactions into long-term engagements.
• Deliver excellent customer experiences in-person and via Intuit video tools.
