Job summary

Intuit seeks a TurboTax Local Service Expert to provide hands-on tax advice and comprehensive preparation services for clients onsite. You will act as a community ambassador, develop a local client base, and connect customers with bookkeeping, payroll, and planning services to drive year-round support.

You will work in a TurboTax location, handle complex scenarios, and ensure a best-in-class customer experience while growing the Intuit ecosystem in your community.

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or practicing attorney with strong tax prep experience.
• Active PTIN to file taxes.
• 3+ years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per tax season with professional software.
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping, payroll, or advisory services with training.
• Must work onsite at a TurboTax location, 8:00–17:00 local time, at least 20 hours/week.
• Must complete required training and wear Intuit uniforms with name/picture usage for advertising.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax expertise and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex returns.
• Act as a proactive community ambassador, growing local client base and organizing events.
• Connect clients with Intuit ecosystem: bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, and credit services.
