Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking TurboTax Local Service Experts to join on-site teams across the United States.

You will provide hands-on tax guidance and prepare returns for individuals and small businesses, while guiding clients through complex scenarios and optimizing their tax outcomes. You’ll collaborate with specialists in bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services, while growing the local TurboTax client base and representing the brand at community events.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA, or practicing attorney with strong tax preparation experience.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 returns per tax season using professional software.
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping, payroll, or tax advisory with training provided.
• Must be onsite at a TurboTax office location, 20+ hours per week.
• Willing to complete training and wear company uniforms and be used in advertising.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients.
• Facilitate discovery sessions, identify deductions, minimize liabilities, maximize refunds, and advise on future planning.
• Act as a local community ambassador to grow TurboTax client base and partnerships.
• Collaborate with bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, and advisory teams to serve clients end-to-end.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience in-person and via virtual tools.
