Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking TurboTax Local Service Experts to join our on-site locations across the United States. You’ll provide hands-on tax advice, complete preparation, and connect clients with broader Intuit resources in a collaborative, end-to-end service model.

This role emphasizes community engagement, local growth, and a client-first mindset, with opportunities to expand into bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software. Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tax Expertise – Give hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador – Act as a local face of TurboTax, grow local client base, and organize community events with marketing support.
• Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem – Connect clients with bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, or Credit Karma as appropriate.
• Build Relationships – Develop long-term trust with clients to convert transactions into sustained relationships.
• Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience – Ensure professionalism and help clients achieve financial goals through in-person and video interactions.
