Job summary

Intuit Careers is seeking dedicated TurboTax - Local Service Experts to work on-site at TurboTax locations in the United States. You will provide hands-on tax advice, prepare returns, and help clients understand personal and business tax needs.

You will grow the local client base, collaborate with specialists, and connect clients with Intuit services like bookkeeping and financial planning for year-round support.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/attorney with strong tax prep experience and knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state 1040 returns per season using professional tax prep software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types with training by Intuit.
• Must be onsite at a TurboTax office, 8:00–17:00 local time, >=20 hours/week; hours may scale.
• Wear Intuit uniforms; may be featured in advertising.
• Interest in building a local/online social presence and tax tips content.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients.
• Handle simple to complex tax situations including personal and business income.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to maximize deductions and refunds.
• Deliver future tax planning advice using government sites and professional tools.
• Be the local growth driver, building a client base through outreach and events.
• Connect clients with the Intuit ecosystem: bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning.
• Develop relationships and ensure year-round client engagement.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience across in-person and virtual meetings.
