Job summary

Intuit is hiring TurboTax Local Service Experts to provide hands-on tax advice and full preparation services at a local TurboTax location in the United States. You will engage with both in-person and virtual clients, driving comprehensive tax solutions and cross-selling Intuit services.

You will build relationships within the community, organize local events, and work with a team to deliver end-to-end tax experiences, from discovery through filing and planning.

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or practicing attorney with strong tax preparation experience.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state individual 1040s per season using professional tax software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize tax liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future tax planning advice.
• Act as local ambassador to build a new client base through outreach, events, and partnerships.
• Connect clients with Intuit solutions such as bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience, assisting in-person and via Intuit video tools.
