Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking a TurboTax Local Service Expert to perform hands-on tax preparation at a TurboTax location in Maryland. You will work with a team to advise clients, complete tax returns, and provide strategic guidance for complex situations.

You will build a local client base, collaborate with other Intuit experts, and help expand TurboTax services in your community. This is an onsite role with flexible hours during peak tax season.

Qualifications

• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state 1040 returns per tax season with professional software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, from simple to complex returns.
• Act as a local community ambassador to grow TurboTax client base and local presence.
• Connect clients with Intuit ecosystem offerings (bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning).
• Build long‑term relationships and deliver a best‑in‑class customer experience.
• Interact with clients in person and via Intuit video tools, addressing inquiries and tax challenges.
