Job summary

Intuit seeks a TurboTax Local Service Expert to work on-site at a TurboTax location in the United States, including Maryland. You will provide full-service tax preparation, expert advice, and software support, while engaging with clients and the local community to grow a trusted practice.

Collaborating with a network of tax, bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory specialists, you’ll deliver end-to-end service, build lasting relationships, and help clients reach their financial goals through

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/Attorney with tax prep experience preferred.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• 3+ years filing 30+ federal/state 1040s per season using professional software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping, payroll, advisory with training.
• Must be onsite 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, 20+ hours/week; flexible during peak season.
• Must complete training and may wear company uniforms and be featured in advertising.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax expertise and complete preparation for TurboTax clients (personal and business).
• Grow local client base through outreach, events, referrals, and partnerships.
• Connect clients to Intuit ecosystem (bookkeeping, payroll, planning, Credit Karma).
• Deliver best-in-class customer experience; build relationships and assist with inquiries.
• Interact with clients in-person and via Intuit video tools; ensure compliant, accurate tax solutions.
