Intuit is hiring a TurboTax - Local Service Expert to deliver hands-on tax preparation and expert guidance at a TurboTax location in Maryland. You will engage with clients in person and virtually, build a local client base, and coordinate with specialists to deliver a seamless tax experience.

The role emphasizes community outreach, broader advisory services, and on-site collaboration. Strong tax knowledge, PTIN, and willingness to upsell are essential, with competitive pay ranges and benefits.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/Attorney with tax preparation experience preferred.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• 3+ years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per tax season using professional tax software.
• Willing to upsell and expand services (bookkeeping, payroll, advisory).
• Onsite work 20 hours per week; uniform and branding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients.
• Build local client base through outreach and community events.
• Connect clients with Intuit ecosystem (bookkeeping, payroll, planning) for year‑round support.
• Deliver exceptional customer experience and resolve tax questions.
• Represent TurboTax in local marketing activities and events.
