Job summary

Intuit is hiring TurboTax Local Service Experts to work on-site at a TurboTax location in the United States. You’ll provide hands-on tax preparation, offer expert advice, and support clients through personal and business tax matters, collaborating with a broader team of specialists.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/Practicing attorney with strong tax preparation experience.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state returns using professional tax software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services with training.
• Onsite role with hours 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time, Mon-Fri, at least 20 hours per week.
• Willing to complete all training and wear Intuit uniforms; may use name/picture for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• English/Spanish bilingual is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients (personal and business).
• Facilitate tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize liabilities, maximize refunds, and plan taxes.
• Grow local client base through outreach, grass-roots marketing, referrals, and partnerships.
• Connect clients to Intuit ecosystem (bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, Credit Karma).
• Deliver exceptional customer experience in-person and via video tools.
• Build lasting relationships and ensure year-round support.
