Job summary

Intuit Careers is hiring TurboTax - Local Service Experts to provide hands-on tax advice and full-service tax return preparation at a TurboTax location. You will collaborate with tax, bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory teams to deliver end-to-end Intuit services to individuals and small businesses in your community.

The role emphasizes local outreach, ongoing client relationships, and a strong customer experience, with on-site hours and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/Attorney with strong tax prep experience and knowledge of tax laws.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per tax season using professional tax software.
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping, payroll, or advisory services with training.
• Must work onsite at a TurboTax office; 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, 20 hours/week minimum.
• Must complete required training and development.
• Must wear Intuit uniforms; may be used for advertising.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus; experience in holistic tax advisory is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions and maximize refunds.
• Grow TurboTax client base through local outreach, events, and partnerships; leverage marketing tools.
• Connect clients with Intuit ecosystem (bookkeeping, payroll, planning) for year-round support.
• Deliver best-in-class customer experience and professional service in-person and virtually.
