Job summary

Intuit Careers is hiring TurboTax Local Service Experts to prepare taxes, advise clients, and drive local business growth from TurboTax locations across the United States. You will work onsite, serving in-person and virtual clients, delivering end-to-end tax services and connecting customers with the broader Intuit ecosystem.

The role emphasizes community presence, client education, and a high standard of customer service.

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per season using professional tax software
• Willing to upskill into additional service types with training
• Comfortable working onsite 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, minimum 20 hours/week
• Willing to complete all required training and development
• Willing to wear Intuit uniforms and be used in advertising
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond tax filing

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations
• Act as local community ambassador, developing a local client base through outreach and partnerships
• Connect clients to Intuit ecosystem such as bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning
• Build relationships to convert one-time transactions into long-term client engagement
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience across in-person and virtual channels
