Job summary

Intuit seeks enthusiastic TurboTax Local Service Experts to work on-site at a TurboTax location in the United States. You will provide hands-on tax preparation and expert advice for a diverse client base, while actively growing local business and delivering a seamless Intuit experience.

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or practicing attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must be willing and able to complete all required training and development including compliance, proficiency-based up-skilling, cross-training, and professional development.
• Willing to wear Intuit provided uniforms and use your name/picture for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.

Responsibilities

• Give hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients across personal and business tax scenarios.
• Act as a proactive community ambassador to grow the local TurboTax client base.
• Connect clients with Intuit solutions like bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, or Credit Karma.
• Build long-term relationships and deliver year-round support.
• Provide exceptional customer experience and clear guidance through tax planning and discussions.
