Job summary

Intuit, Inc. seeks an on-site TurboTax Local Service Expert to provide thorough tax preparation and personalized guidance. You will work with clients in a TurboTax location, collaborating with a team of tax professionals to deliver end-to-end services and grow the local client base.

The role emphasizes building long-term relationships, community presence, and connecting clients with Intuit solutions, with a focus on customer-first service and accuracy.

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or attorney with strong tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax laws.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per season using professional software.
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping, payroll, or advisory services with training.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office, roughly 8:00–17:00, M–F, at least 20 hours/week.
• Willing to complete required training and development; additional requirements may be added.
• Willing to wear Intuit uniforms and use your name/picture for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions and plan for future taxes.
• Act as a community ambassador to grow the local TurboTax client base via outreach and partnerships.
• Connect clients with Intuit solutions such as bookkeeping, payroll, or financial planning.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience in person and via video tools.
• Develop long-term relationships and ensure client retention.
