Job summary

Intuit, Inc. in the United States seeks a TurboTax Local Service Expert to provide on-site tax preparation and client advisory services. You will collaborate with specialists to deliver end-to-end Intuit solutions and actively grow the local TurboTax client base.

The role emphasizes community engagement, on-site work, and ongoing professional training, with opportunities to expand services across bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software. Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time, for at least 20 hours per week.
• Must complete all required training and development as determined by the business including compliance and cross-training.
• Willing to wear Intuit uniforms and use your name/picture for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert for community engagement.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, for personal and business income, deductions, and amendments.
• Act as a proactive community ambassador to grow a local customer base and engage in grassroots marketing.
• Connect clients with Intuit solutions such as bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, or Credit Karma.
• Build relationships to convert prospects into loyal, long-term clients.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience with professional communication across in-person and video channels.
