Job summary

Intuit is seeking TurboTax Local Service Experts to work onsite, delivering tax preparation, expert advice, and software support for personal and business needs. You’ll engage the local community, build lasting client relationships, and coordinate with a broader team to deliver end-to-end TurboTax experiences.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM local time, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must be willing and able to complete all required training and development as determined by the business including compliance training, up-skilling, cross-training, etc.
• Must be willing to wear Intuit provided uniforms and use your name/picture for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert for community.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tax Expertise - Give hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients across personal and business returns.
• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador - Grow local client base through outreach, events, and partnerships.
• Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem - Connect clients to bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, or Credit Karma as needed.
• Build Relationships - Develop long-term trust with clients for repeat business.
• Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience - Ensure professional, helpful service in person and via video tools.
