Job summary

Intuit offers year-round TurboTax Local Service Expert positions at new TurboTax locations nationwide. You will provide hands-on tax return preparation, expert tax advice, and software support for in-person and virtual clients, delivering end-to-end Intuit experiences.

You’ll grow your local client base, collaborate with specialists in bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services, and help clients plan for future financial goals with a community-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• 3+ years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 returns per season using professional tax prep software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types (bookkeeping, payroll, advisory) with training.
• Must be onsite at a TurboTax office, 20 hours/week minimum, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
• Willing to complete all required training and development.
• Willing to wear Intuit uniforms and be used in advertising with your name/picture.
• Interest in building local and online presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax expertise and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex situations.
• Grow local client base through outreach, grass-roots marketing, referrals, and partnerships.
• Connect clients with the Intuit ecosystem (bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, Credit Karma).
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience in-person and via Intuit video tools.
• Build lasting client relationships and ensure comprehensive support year-round.
