Job summary

Lowes Foods, LLC is seeking a Pick & Prep team member to actively engage guests through hands-on product preparation, sampling, and storytelling about fresh, local, seasonal offerings. You will operate the Pick & Prep area to standards, maintain sanitation, assist with receiving, stocking, and guest service, and perform PA announcements as needed.

Must be 18+, able to lift 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally, work well in a team, and be willing to learn knife skills and other tasks in a

• Knowledge of Pick & Prep operations.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods.
• Able to follow directions from supervision and work with scales/computers.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage guests through product preparation, sampling and suggestive selling.
• Personal demonstration of superior guest service with storytelling about products (Fresh, Healthy, Seasonal, Local).
• Demonstrate knife showmanship to highlight Pick & Prep services.
• Operate the Pick & Prep area according to merchandising and operational standards.
• Ensure product quality meets Lowes Foods standards.
• Maintain sanitation and safety throughout the department.
• Perform product prep, receiving, ordering, stocking, merchandising and guest service as needed.
• Perform PA announcements.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
