Job summary

Estes Express Lines is seeking a safety-minded driver to operate a Class B CDL Straight Truck across diverse routes. You will perform pre-trip inspections, ensure FMCSA compliance, and maintain required records while providing courteous service to customers.

The role may involve loading or unloading freight at customer sites and dock areas, with Hazmat endorsement preferred but not required. Excellent judgment and adherence to safety are essential.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Class B or Class A CDL.
• FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse registration required.
• Must pass FMCSA medical exam and road test.
• Must be able to lift 70 lbs. and operate a forklift.
• Must reside within 75 miles of the service center.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class B CDL Straight Truck safely according to FMCSA regulations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain records.
• Load/unload freight at customer sites and dock operations as needed.
• Adhere to safety rules, policies and code of conduct, and respond to questions.
