Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 21 years of age per FMCSA regulations.
• Valid Class A CDL required.
• FMCSA Clearinghouse registration required.
• HazMat, Tanker and Doubles endorsements required.
• Must reside within 75 miles of the service center/work assignment.
• Must pass FMCSA medical exam and road test.

Responsibilities

• Operate all types of equipment, including manual transmission, in varied terrains and conditions.
• Drive tractor/trailer in compliance with FMCSA and company rules.
• Maintain records per local, state and federal regulations.
• Ensure safe and legal transport of hazardous materials.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the tractor and trailer.
• Report maintenance issues promptly to Fleet Services or supervision.
• Possess good situational awareness and ability to work with dock operations.
