Job summary

Valet Living is hiring part-time Apartment Grounds & Sanitation Porters to help keep apartment communities clean, safe, and running smoothly. You’ll work independently, stay active, and see the results of your work every day in a local area near home.

Qualifying candidates own an open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle with a trailer, have a valid license and auto insurance, and are at least 18. The role offers a daytime schedule and flexible second-job fit.

Qualifications

• Must personally own either an open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle paired with an open utility trailer for the job; vehicles without an open bed or trailer do not qualify.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Auto insurance for the used vehicle required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Smartphone with data plan to use the work app.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. (proof required).

Responsibilities

• Maintain dumpster areas, trash enclosures, and common spaces to keep communities clean and welcoming.
• Compact and organize trash using company equipment.
• Handle recycling and compost materials per procedures.
• Remove debris, sweep areas, and provide general porter services.
• Remove pet waste from designated areas using provided supplies.
• Empty common-area trash receptacles and replace liners as needed.
• Use the mobile app to track work, complete tasks, and confirm service.
• Walk properties, climb stairs, and work outdoors.
