GPAC is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join a well-established local electrical contractor serving Sacramento’s commercial and industrial markets. The role focuses on local projects, enabling bidding and pricing tailored to the region.

The ideal candidate will review drawings, perform takeoffs, and develop competitive estimates while coordinating with project teams. This position offers bonus opportunities, comprehensive benefits, and long-term growth in a stable local firm.

Formación

• 3+ years of electrical estimating experience.
• Commercial and/or industrial electrical construction background.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical plans and specifications.
• Strong understanding of electrical materials, labor, and installation methods.
• Experience with Accubid, ConEst, McCormick, or similar software preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of the local electrical construction market is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Estimate local commercial and industrial electrical projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and bid documents.
• Complete material and labor takeoffs.
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing.
• Develop accurate and competitive project estimates.
• Prepare bids and proposals.
• Identify project risks, exclusions, and opportunities.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Operations, and company leadership.
• Manage multiple estimates and bid deadlines.
• Assist with transitioning awarded projects to the Project Management team.
