Job summary

Midwest Communications, Inc. seeks a Digital Sales Specialist to support our Duluth and Hibbing sales teams from the Duluth office. You will build client relationships, develop your own book of business, and present integrated campaigns across online and on-air channels.

The role requires hands-on knowledge of Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, GA4, Excel and PowerPoint/Slides, plus a customer-friendly approach. Base salary is $50,000 with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in digital marketing, advertising, business or related field.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• People person who enjoys helping others solve problems.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Valid Minnesota driver’s license and background check.
• Hands-on knowledge of Google Ads, Meta Business Suite and GA4.
• Confident prospecting, cold calling, and presenting to business owners.
• Ability to explain digital marketing in simple terms.

Responsibilities

• Meet clients face-to-face, run needs analyses, and present customized proposals.
• Collaborate with sales consultants to build smart marketing strategies and ads.
• Build digital marketing packages including SEM/SEO, display ads, social, email, OTT/CTV, streaming audio.
• Pair digital campaigns with on-air schedules for multi-platform reach.
• Track campaign performance metrics and adjust campaigns to improve ROI.
• Grow accounts through renewals and upsells.
• Present campaign reports in plain language and outline next steps.
• Serve as the team’s digital expert and train sales consultants.
• Stay current on digital advertising platforms and best practices.
• Manage pipeline in CRM and meet or exceed monthly revenue goals.
