Job summary

Midwest Communications, Inc. in Duluth, MN is hiring a Digital Sales Specialist to support our sales team and grow a local book of business. You will meet clients, analyze needs, and present customized digital marketing proposals across SEM/SEO, display, social, email, OTT/CTV, and streaming audio.

You’ll pair digital campaigns with on-air schedules, track ROI, and renew/upsell accounts while training colleagues and staying current on platforms. A Bachelor's in related field is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in digital marketing, advertising, business, or related field.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• People-oriented with strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Valid Minnesota driver’s license and ability to pass checks.
• Hands-on knowledge of Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, and GA4.

Responsibilities

• Meet clients face-to-face, run needs analyses, and present customized proposals.
• Collaborate with sales consultants to build smart marketing strategies across on-air and digital.
• Build digital marketing packages including SEM/SEO, display, social, email, OTT/CTV, and streaming audio.
• Pair digital campaigns with on-air schedules for multi-platform reach.
• Track campaign performance, review trends, and adjust campaigns to improve ROI.
• Grow accounts through renewals and upsells.
• Present campaign reports to clients with clear next steps.
• Serve as the team’s digital expert; train sales consultants.
• Stay current on digital advertising platforms and best practices.
• Manage pipeline in CRM and meet monthly revenue goals.
