Job summary

DAIKIN COMFORT TECHNOLOGIES NORTHEAST, I is seeking a Local Driver to operate company trucks for timely product delivery. The role requires loading/unloading, cargo securing, and occasional warehouse/front counter support at the branch location.

Responsibilities include maintaining DOT logs, routing efficiently, and ensuring safety while handling forklifts and heavy loads. A valid CDL and clean driving record are essential, with DOT testing and background checks part of the process.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and clear driving record.
• Minimum 1 year verifiable commercial driving experience in the past 3 years.
• DOT road test, pre-employment drug & alcohol testing, and background check required.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook & Excel), Mincron, and a scanner.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload and deliver product to customer sites within designated time frames safely using efficient routes.
• Maintain logs and reports to comply with DOT and company safety standards.
• Safely load, brace, and secure cargo for transport.
• Operate forklift safely to load/unload and transfer product.
• Perform pre-check and post-check operations on company vehicles and forklifts.
• Perform warehouse/front counter duties as needed and support branch operations.
