Job summary

Daikin Comfort is seeking a Local Driver responsible for the safe operation of company trucks to ensure timely delivery of products to customer sites and company locations. The role includes loading, unloading, and transferring products using forklifts and other equipment, while maintaining DOT-compliant logs and safety practices.

Responsibilities include loading and delivering within time frames, performing pre/post-trip checks, and providing front counter and warehouse support as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• DOT screening annually.
• 3+ years of verifiable commercial driving experience within the past 3 years.
• Valid Driver License in the state of employment.
• DMV record cannot reflect more than 2 moving violations or preventable accidents in past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload and deliver product to customer sites within designated time frames safely.
• Maintain logs and reports to comply with DOT and company policies.
• Safe loading, blocking, bracing and securing cargo.
• Operate forklift safely for transferring, loading and unloading products.
• Perform pre/post-trip vehicle checks and follow required procedures.
• Assist with warehouse duties and front counter support as needed.
