Job summary

Daikin Comfort in the United States seeks a Local Driver to safely operate company trucks for timely deliveries and to assist with warehouse and front counter duties. You will load, unload and transfer products, maintain logs, and ensure customer satisfaction on every stop.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of commercial driving experience, a valid license, and knowledge of DOT regulations, with the ability to pass DOT tests and background checks. Strong MS Office and forklift skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older with a valid state driver's license.
• 3+ years of verifiable commercial driving in the past 3 years.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Successful completion of DOT road test, pre-employment drug and alcohol testing, and background check.
• Excellent customer service and ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload and deliver product to customer sites within designated time frames safely.
• Maintain DOT logs and company reports for compliance.
• Safely load, block and secure cargo for transport.
• Operate forklift and transfer product as needed on site.
• Perform warehouse duties and assist on front counter as required.
