Job summary

Daikin Comfort is seeking a Local Driver to operate company trucks safely for timely delivery to customer sites. You will load, unload, and transfer products, using forklifts and other equipment as required, while supporting warehouse and front counter tasks.

You must have 3+ years of commercial driving experience, a valid license, and a clean DOT record. Excellent customer service skills and ability to multitask are essential for daily operations at the Anchorage branch.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• Minimum 3 years of verifiable commercial driving in the past 3 years.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety policies.
• Ability to load/unload and operate forklifts and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload and deliver products to customer sites within designated time frames.
• Maintain logs and reports to comply with DOT and company policies.
• Safely load and secure cargo for transport.
• Operate forklifts to transfer product and load/unload.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and warehouse duties as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service at all times.
