Job summary

DAIKIN COMFORT TECHNOLOGIES DIST INC is seeking a Local Driver to safely operate company trucks and ensure timely deliveries to customers and company locations. You will load/unload products, perform forklift-related tasks, and assist with warehouse duties and front counter support.

A strong focus on customer service and compliance with DOT regulations is essential. Must have a high school diploma or GED, a valid drivers license, and be able to lift up to 40 lbs; DOT screening and background

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Valid driver's license in state of employment required.
DOT screening annually and background check.
Minimum 1 year verifiable commercial driving experience in past 3 years.
Ability to operate a forklift and use MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

Load, unload and deliver product to customer sites within designated time frames safely.
Maintain logs/reports to comply with DOT and company safety policies.
Safely load and secure cargo.
Operate forklift to transfer, load and unload product.
Perform pre-check and post-check of company vehicles and forklifts.
